How to Get Verified on Instagram

The blue checkmark that we all long for on social media platforms is often mysteriously difficult to achieve. How do people understand this? Twitter has allowed people to apply for a while, but the system is currently on hold . However, Instagram does it.

According to Select All, the company has announced a number of security-related updates. You can now check if the major account ever changed its name when it joined and if it showed ads. You can also get tested, which has certain benefits. These include embedding scrolling ads in your Instagram Stories and encouraging people to take you more seriously – verified people’s comments carry more visibility, and to those who follow you, it is a reassurance that you are who you say you are.

My Instagram is set to private so I don’t like it all, but if you’re a budding entrepreneur and influencer, get in line! Prepare to provide the app with personal information and some kind of government-issued ID. As Instagram writes on its blog, there are four requirements to note before you get this checkbox:

Authenticity : Your account must represent a real person, registered business or organization.

Uniqueness : Your account must reflect the unique presence of the person or company it represents. Only one account per person or company can be verified, excluding language-specific accounts. We do not verify accounts with common interests (example: @puppymemes).

Completed : Your account must be public and contain a bio, profile photo, and at least one message. Your profile cannot contain “add me” links to other social networking services.

Note : Your account must be from a famous person, brand, or high-demand organization. We verify accounts from multiple news sources and do not consider paid or sponsored content as sources for verification.

Hell no @puppymemes? Well, I have no ideas. It looks like verified accounts will still be for people who already have some value, so keep building your brand and aiming for the stars.
