If You Tire Your Cat, It Won’t Bother You That Much at Night.

When we last collected the weekly updates from Lifehacker employees, our editors looked into new podcasts, gave money to Apple, and found ways to get along better with the angry cat.

This week, we’re looking for ways to keep kids from breaking the toilet, adding new activities to our training regimes, and still looking for ways to get along better with an angry cat.

What updates have you made this week? Let us know in the comments.

Entertain your cat

My update is a laser pointer for my cat. It entertains me and entertains her, and it tires her, so she is not so annoying at night.

Protect your toilet from children

Our toilet broke down, and we replaced the flush with one that is activated with a wave of the hand. Once it is washed off, it will be oblivious to further waving for a good 30 seconds or so. You can’t even imagine how great a find this is in a house full of young children who love to grab the flush handle, wiggle it, and flush it a million times … and if you think about it, that’s why it probably broke in the case. first place.

Complete your running routine

I was looking for an exercise class to complement my running and work other muscles (especially the arms) and finally found it in … rotation. The first time I felt like Kimmy Schmidt : at first I got a little scared, and then went all-in. It is a great stress reliever. Hi CrankNYC on the Upper East Side.

Start writing first thing in the morning

I’m pretty sure I once wrote about Morning Pages as an upgrade of mine, but I’ve long since fallen behind and returned to practice this week. At the moment, I’m not doing this with an eye on any larger writing project, but I believe that the first thing in the morning to throw your thoughts on paper is the mental equivalent of making the bed and taking out the trash, and I can. ” I highly recommend this.

Find new and creative ways Twitter can upset you

I haven’t done a shit this week because World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is out and I’m reliving all the hours I spent in college meticulously working on digital hardware improvements. I also checked out a few digital tools this week that you can use to find out who on Twitter isn’t following you in return (among those you follow). I felt sad. Of course, given that everyone is threatening to leave Twitter – seems like an annual tradition – maybe it doesn’t matter.
