I Eat on a Spit, Not With My Hands, With the Help of a Bow

There is something particularly enjoyable about eating grilled meat (or vegetables, I think) off a stick, but skewered lamb can quickly turn into hand meat on a skewer if you’re not careful. Fortunately, Serious Eats has come up with a faster, safer way to barbecue food cubes, and all you need is half an onion.

In fact, potatoes or lemon will do. All you need is half a solid, stable product. To chop a skewer, place a piece of marinated meat over half the onion and pierce.
