Prevent App Tracking If You Opened an Email With This Gmail Extension
A few years ago, a friend told me about Streak, a Gmail extension that lets you track if your email has been opened. It was a game changer for me simply because it allowed me to have some idea of whether the message reached the person I intended or was stuck somewhere in a cyberspace spam folder.
I like this idea, but I don’t like the idea that people who send me emails can do the same (hypocritical I know).
PixelBlock is a Gmail extension that detects when someone tries to track you, notifies you of the tracking, and blocks it.
At the very least, it’s interesting to see what kind of people and companies choose to track what they ship.
