IFTTT Adds Support for IPhone Calendar and App Store
If This Then That (IFTTT), one of our favorite automation services , today introduced support for both the iOS calendar and the app store. This means you can do cool things like add events to your iPhone calendar from Alexa, integrate weather reports, and more.
The new integration gives you tons of new cards in Calendar. Some of my favorites, in addition to the Alexa integration , include the addition of Fitbit journals , location – based work time tracking , and a Do Not Disturb automation tool . The App Store also has some tools like notifications for certain types of apps , update notifications, or better yet, emails when the price of an app drops . If you’ve used the iOS Calendar app or are just using the iCloud backbone with another third-party calendar, this is a great little add-on.
