Steps Gives You Daily Tasks to Help You Deal With Social Anxiety

iOS: Social anxiety can be debilitating, and even if you don’t combat it completely, you probably run into some symptoms from time to time . If you’re having trouble getting out of your comfort zone, Steps is a free app that helps you complete one task at a time.

The app presents you with a series of challenges in several different categories, such as “Stop worrying about what others think” and “Try something new.” Choose a target and you will receive a task. Some are as simple as saying good morning to three people. Others may take a little more courage and time, such as asking a colleague to take a walk.

At Product Hunt, app co-founder Fabian Elchert explained:

The app offers you a variety of tasks in specially selected sets, such as building friendships and handling rejections.

The app is currently only available for iOS, but iDareTo is a similar app for Android. Unfortunately, iDareTo is not free and will cost $ 3.99.
