Does Your Company Invest in Employee Training?

A recent survey by Robert Half International found that most companies have formalized employee training programs, including paying for classes or reimbursing employees if they are related to their job. Where is your company located? Do they pay tuition fees?

In the survey itself, two questions were asked: Does the company support its employees in their efforts to obtain professional certifications, and whether they pay to help them maintain their certifications. In both cases, the overwhelming majority of responses were affirmative: about 70% of the more than 2,000 companies that responded answered affirmatively to both questions. Slightly more said they are helping employees maintain their certifications than gaining certifications, and all those who said yes also noted that they have other employee education and training programs. You can read more about the study below.

What about your company? Do they offer instructional classes, do they pay for instructional sessions, or even tuition?
