Basically, Waltr is a simple file manager with which you can send files of any type to your iOS device wirelessly. It has a few tricks and extras, such as automatic file conversion for audio and video, and content recognition using metadata. It works as you’d expect and takes iTunes out of the file transfer equation, which in itself makes it noteworthy. However, when you first launch the app, an annoying video with autoplay instructions appears, although luckily you only have to watch it once. Waltr is also a bit pricey at $ 39.95, but luckily there is a 24-hour demo that you can check out to decide if it’s worth it for you.
