Windows Updates May Reinstall Related Apps You Uninstalled

Windows 10 is mostly a step up from previous versions , but it also comes with a number of annoyances. For example, all of the related apps that Microsoft includes. Or the fact that some users see these apps being reinstalled after a major update.

Microsoft’s Big Anniversary Update , released earlier this month, marks the first major update to Windows 10 since its release. According to a post on the tech site Ghacks, Microsoft took this opportunity to reinstall some built-in apps that users had previously uninstalled.

It is unclear if this was a deliberate decision to override the user’s choice, or if Microsoft simply left out all related apps in the update that the user no longer installed. In any case, the result is another unpleasant thing to get rid of.
