New Apple TV Remote IPhone App Adds Siri Support and More
iOS: Apple today launched a new remote app for Apple TV with support for the current fourth-generation model, such as Siri and games.
Once you connect the app to your Apple TV over Wi-Fi, you’ll notice that the app looks exactly like the remote that comes with the fourth generation Apple TV. It works in much the same way. On the top half of the screen, you can swipe and tap to navigate through menus, while still having a combination of play / pause, home and Siri buttons. You can also talk to your Apple TV’s Siri through your phone, and you can even use your iPhone’s built-in accelerometer and gyroscope to play games. In addition, you can use the iPhone keyboard to enter search results, which is much easier than using the touchpad to scroll. You can download it for free from the link below.
