The Rest of the Day: Apple Encourages Organ Donation With IOS 10
Apple will make registering an organ donor easier than ever. With the release of iOS 10 later this year, you will be able to register with the national organ donor registry through the Health app.
- Registration records submitted through the app will be sent to the National Donation Registry . “The demand for vital transplants far exceeds the available supply of organs, and one donor can save up to eight lives,” said David Fleming, CEO of Donate Life America, which operates the registry.
