Mirror Color Desktop With Dual Monitors

We don’t highlight dual-display desktops as often as we would like, so when orbmeiser introduced this dual-monitor setup I took notice. It runs Netrunner Linux on two displays and this is what it used to set it up.

Most of this material will be more useful for Linux users than Windows or OS X users, but at least you can get some of the same functionality on Windows with Rainmeter and OS X with GeekTool, but if you are using Linux or whatever a strip, here’s what you need to get the same effect:

There may be a little more here, but that’s what Orbmeiser lists on his Flickr page. If you have questions and want to duplicate effects, be sure to go there (link below) and let him know that you like his work and ask your questions so you can get the same there.

Do you have a beautiful and functional desktop to show off? Share with us! Post it to your personal Kinja blog using the Desktop Showcase tag or add it to our Lifehacker Desktop Show and Tell Flickr pool . Screenshots must be at least 1280×720 and include information about what you used, links to wallpapers, skins and themes, and any other important information. If your wonderful desktop catches our attention, you may be on our favorites!
