Looking for like-minded people to discuss programming, games, writing, or any other interest? Hamster Pad helps you find a Slack community to join.
Basically, the site brings together open Slack teams. Create an account on Hamster Pad, click chat and you will receive an email inviting you to join the Slack team. The tags for each chat will help you determine if it matches your interests, but there is currently no search or other way to filter the list of communities.
At the time of this writing, there are several Slack teams dedicated to programming and specific programming languages, but there are also teams on general topics such as music, travel, and Star Wars.
