Apple’s Safari Browser Crashing on IPhone and OS X Due to Search Crash [updated]
Apple’s Safari for iOS and OS X crashed this morning causing some users to experience browser crashes when they search the address bar. The problem appears to be related to the search suggestions that usually come from Apple’s servers, which don’t seem to work.
To avoid crashing on iOS, you can simply turn off Safari Suggestions in iPhone Settings or use Private Mode.
Update: Apple says the issue has been fixed .
