Use Leftover Pineapple Peels to Make a Refreshing Tropical Tea

Pineapple is delicious and not as hard to cut as it sounds , but after you cut the fruit, don’t throw away the peel. You can make a delicious infused tea from them in about an hour.

Combine the remaining pineapple peel with water and a few chopped cinnamon sticks in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then let it simmer for an hour to combine all the flavors. Add black tea and let it sit for about 20 minutes. Remove the pineapple core, rind, cinnamon, and tea and pour into a serving pitcher. You can chill it right away or serve it over ice, but either way you get a refreshing drink that will pair with what you use the pineapple pulp for.
