IF (Formerly IFTTT) for Android Gets Battery Monitoring Channel and More

IF for Android is already pretty cool . Today it has a great new battery monitoring channel. You can now associate IFTTT actions with triggers such as charging your phone, draining your battery, or disconnecting it from a charger. Plus, you can now toggle settings like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

As with most new channel launches, you can already put together a few recipes and try them out now. You can do simple things like turn off Wi-Fi or Bluetooth when the battery gets too low, or more complex things like record every time the battery runs out in a Google spreadsheet .

The company has also added some new features to the Android channel, such as toggling Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (if previous recipes didn’t make it obvious) or controlling your music. While we love Tasker , IF is much easier to use on Android, and as its capabilities grow, it only looks better as an Android automation tool.
