Save Leftover Salted Chicken Juice

If you have leftover pickled juice and have not yet made cocktails from it, do not throw it away. Save this for the next time you want to brine the chicken.

Pickled juice contains water, salt, spices and herbs. This is an excellent pickle not only for pickles, but also for chicken. If the jar is big enough, just tuck the chicken breasts into it. If not, add chicken and juice to a large Ziploc bag, squeeze to remove air, and zip up. Let the chicken sit in the brine for about eight hours, then cook as usual. I recommend the fried ones. After all, pickled juice is the secret of a good Chick-Fil-A wannabe .
