This Checklist Will Ensure Your Next Meeting Is Productive.

Nobody likes to waste time meeting, but it happens. In order to make your time more efficient, it is helpful to have a plan. Use this checklist to make sure your next meeting will be more productive.

Harvard Business Review (HBR) has created a detailed Meeting Preparation Checklist, which includes a series of questions you should ask before making an appointment. The image above provides examples of some of these questions.

Some of them require brainstorming, and HBR provides advice on these matters. For example, when you develop a preliminary agenda, you basically create a meeting plan. This includes a short introduction and a summary of the steps at the end. Make a list of the points you want to cover and how much time you plan to devote to each one.

Yes, it still takes time to prepare for the meeting. But it’s worth it if it helps the meeting stay focused and productive. Neglect preparation and you end up wasting much more time. For a complete checklist, follow the link below.
