There are many wonderful things you can do with aluminum foil. You can seal plastic bags , refit batteries , iron your clothes faster, and even foil electronic pickpockets . When it comes to moldable shiny materials, this is the best option.
While there are many interesting tricks you can do with foil, it is probably the most useful when it comes to cooking and other more practical uses. When it comes to the best things, Christine Cyr Klisset of The Sweethome recommends foil that is malleable, unlikely to puncture, and that is readily available:
We tested the top-rated 18 films and found that the classic Reynolds Wrap Heavy Duty aluminum foil ($ 8 for 125 feet) is still the best of the lot, but not by much. We came to this conclusion after 20 hours of research and 15 hours of spinning yards of foil to cover bowls, make foil bags for campfires, and (in some cases) mold helmets to keep out aliens.
Clisset and the rest of The Sweethome found that most durable films were great for most applications, but Reynolds was only slightly thicker and slightly more pliable.
