Milkdrop Desktop

Working Flickr user table LostWatson surreal and beautiful, but it is well organized. A simple launcher on the side offers access to its applications, and everything else is neat and clear. Here’s what he used to do it all.

It’s pretty straight forward and it doesn’t have a ton of components. LostWatson runs on Windows, so this is what it used:

The taskbar is set to auto-hide, and LostWatson talks about the rest of the configuration:

I edited the script to include everything on one page, commented out unnecessary trash and added graphics for the categories. An rss feed and performance monitor would be nice, but I didn’t quite understand how the author used the hide feature in the original script.

That’s all there is to it. Rainmeter and one UI running alongside it. It definitely took some setup work, and if you’re not familiar with it, it can be a little intimidating. If you have questions about how to set it up or get it to work, click on the Flickr link below to go to LostWatson’s page and ask how he did it all. Don’t forget to let him know we sent you and loved his work when you leave!
