Create a Sound Outlet Using Arduino

The clapper was a fun little device popular in the 80s and 90s that allowed you to turn on any outlet in your home with a clap. Make a demo of how to create your own version of this device that is slightly smarter and more useful.

The Make tutorial uses Arduino, so you can set a specific sound pattern for every socket in your house. So you can use one clap pattern to turn on the light, two claps for the fan, or simply set up an automation system where you can clap different commands to reboot the router.
