Side Notes Create Dropbox Notes Anywhere in Chrome
Chrome: Sometimes when you’re working, you need to jot down a thought quickly. Instead of opening an application or another browser window, Sidenotes allows you to create a note in the current window. These notes are then synced to Dropbox.
The extension places an icon next to the address bar. To start taking notes, click this icon or press Ctrl + N. The note will be linked to the website you are viewing. If you return to this site later, the same note appears. The extension also allows you to view and search all notes at once.
Google Keep serves a similar function, but it’s a simple alternative that stores files in your Dropbox.
