Hope We All Add Liquor to Our Coffee
Many of you have shared your newfound tips for working from home, but you’ve just taken over work from home. I was born in it. Formed by him. I’ve been doing this for years and I’m good at it.
One of the obvious benefits of the WFH lifestyle is complete control over your environment. This includes temperature, lighting, and noise levels, but it can also make simple things like coffee breaks a little more enjoyable. I am saying that you should add alcohol to your morning coffee. Honestly, if not now, then when?
With everything happening right now, a little distraction before you log into Twitter or turn on the news definitely qualifies as what influencers call “self-care.” Chocolate syrup is also desirable because it tastes good. Combine the two? Well, that’s just common sense.
Coffee is often paired with Bailey’s, Kahlua and the like, but let me make the case for cherry liqueur – especially the sweeter ear-style drink. Mix that with a generous spoonful of chocolate syrup and a strong drip of coffee, and you’ve got your morning drink that tastes exactly like a chocolate-covered cherry and gets you a little buzzing. Coffee makes the chocolate richer, which in turn smooths out the bitterness in the beer. It’s magical. To make it you will need:
- A cup of coffee
- 30 grams of cherry liqueur
- 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
Add liqueur and syrup to a cup of hot coffee and stir . You can add cream if you like, but this is not necessary. Repeat as necessary.
