How to Transfer Files Wirelessly Between Windows 10 and Samsung Phone
The latest build of Windows 10 Insider now supports wireless file transfer between the Samsung Link to Windows app and the Microsoft Your Phone app for Windows 10. This should make it much easier to send photos and other files between your PC and Galaxy smartphones, provided you meet all the requirements. requirements.
For now, this feature is only available to Windows 10 Insiders, but its presence in the newest test build means it will soon be available to regular users. Likewise, wireless file transfer only works on Samsung devices that can run the “Link to Windows” application version 1.5 or higher. The Galaxy S10, S20 and Note 10 should be fine, but users with older devices will need to check which version of the app they are using.
And these are not the only caveats : only 100 files can be transferred at one time via Link to Windows; the size of each individual file must not exceed 512 MB; and both devices must be connected to the same wifi network for the process to work (obviously).
If you clear all those requirements, here’s how to wirelessly exchange files between PC and Samsung smartphone.
