Switch Hardware Control in Android Lollipop Using Voice Command
For a long time, voice commands like “turn on Wi-Fi” on Android gave you a settings page where you could manually switch settings. However, in Android Lollipop, they work right away.
As noted by Android Police, voice commands for common hardware switches allow certain instruments to be turned on and off immediately. The search app will also provide you with a card to manually switch a function, which is handy for things like a flashlight that you may need to switch several times in a short period. For now, this feature only works on Android 5.0 or later.
