How to enable caller ID announcements on Android
Please install the latest updates of the Google Phone app first, or download it from the Google Play store if it is not installed on your device.
By updating the app to the latest version, you can enable Caller ID announcements in your Google Phone settings:
- Open the Google Phone app.
- Tap the three-dot icon, then choose Settings> Caller Announcement.
- Tap Announce Caller ID, then select one of the options: Always, Headset Only, or Never. You can close the application when finished.
- The next time you receive a call, the caller ID will be read aloud.
