Train Yourself to Wake up One Minute at a Time.

There are several ways to get out of bed earlier, but one of the most effective is to exercise over time . If you want to smoothly transition to an earlier waking time and have time, you can easily do this by getting up a minute earlier each day.

The problem with getting up early is that we tend to set a time for which our body is probably not ready. When you wake up 20 minutes or more earlier than usual, chances are good that you will simply hit that always tempting snooze button. It’s much more effective for you to ease the change process, and Fast Company’s Sarah Peterson suggests setting your alarm two minutes early every two days so you don’t even notice.

For example, if you wake up at 7:00 now, but want to wake up at 6:30; you would set tomorrow’s alarm at 6:58 am. Two days later, 6:56 am. After a month, you will wake up half an hour earlier without feeling the loss, because your body has gradually got used to it. This method is obviously only ideal when you have time to adjust, but it helps you develop the habit that shapes your body to accommodate that kind of adjustment.
