Create a DIY Folding Workbench to Save Floor Space in Your Store
No matter how big your workshop is, space is expensive. You can build this foldable work table by day that will instantly improve your work area without taking up valuable floor space.
This table is similar to the other foldable work table we outlined earlier, but this table uses only one hinge and the legs are attached to the table and fold back as one.
There is no set size for this table, but consider the length of the piano loop you can purchase. This hinge should run almost the entire length of the table. Home Depot sells piano hinges up to 6 feet in height, but this design works best with a table 3-4 feet high.
The table can be made from scrap plywood and 2×4. You will need a pair of bolts to attach the legs, and a device for drilling holes in their pockets, to secure the frame, but otherwise this is a simple design that will significantly increase the value of your workshop.
