Create a Wooden Steadicam for GoPro or Smartphone
Get rid of wobbly videos and learn how to work with wood by building a homemade gimbal for your GoPro or smartphone.
You will need a table saw to cut a few thin pieces of wood, which is pretty standard. But to get that perfect curb, you need to saturate the wood and go through a folded lamination process. Then, with patience, a hand saw and a drill, you can cut the universal joint connecting the handle to the steadicam. Use different sized nuts and bolts to get the perfect counterweight, then start shooting. Watch the video above to see the project in action.
