Dashlane 4 Makes It Easy to Change Passwords on Compromised Sites, Adds a New Interface and More
Windows / OS X / Android / iOS: Dashlane is one of our favorite password managers and today the service has been updated with a new consistent interface across all devices, an updated “password changer” that lets you change passwords on a site without ever logging into it. this, new languages and much more.
The new interface may not look very different at first glance, but there are new viewing options, sorting options to help you quickly find (and change) the passwords you need, as well as clearer shortcuts and menus that make it easier to access the information you need. then encrypted notes, specific passwords, saved purchases, or whatever.
Likewise, the password changer feature, which allows you to change a site’s password – or dozens of passwords – from within the app, now supports hundreds of other sites. This means that if a site is hacked, you can simply tell Dashlane to change the password for you and save it – you don’t have to fight all the people trying to visit the site and find “Forgot your password?” button.
There are several other useful features as well, including support for five new languages across all apps, support for more saved payment options, and an improved signup process to help you get started with the app faster than before.
