Amazon Announces Refreshed Kindle and White Kindle Paperwhite
Amazon today announced an updated version of its stock Kindle, as well as a white version of its Paperwhite model. Both are available from today at the same price as the older models.
The regular Kindle has received the most significant upgrade: double the storage capacity of previous models, up to 4GB. It also comes with a couple of new features, including support for Bluetooth audio, and a thinner, lighter bezel that might help a little when you’re holding the device in your hands for extended periods of time. A regular Kindle starts at $ 79.99 .
The Kindle Paperwhite hasn’t received an internal update, but you can now buy the White Paperwhite. Finally, let’s put an end to this incorrect designation of chromaticity once and for all. This Kindle model also retains its original $ 119.99 price tag .
