Stream Music From the Player to Any Computer in the House With a Raspberry Pi
Do you have vinyl that you want to listen to anywhere in the house? The Mozilla folks (yes, Mozilla specifically ) wanted to find a way to get one player to play audio throughout the office. Their solution was the Raspberry Pi.
To do this, you need a turntable with a USB port. Basically, the player connected to the Pi then goes to Icecast , which streams the audio to the network. Granted, this probably won’t replace the many streaming and digital solutions to this problem, but it’s an interesting project nonetheless.
