Rest of the Day: Twitter’s New Filter Aims to Remove Trolls From Your Notifications
Twitter has announced a new set of anti-harassment tools. There is now an additional “quality filter” that can limit the notifications you receive from people based on their previous behavior and account origin, ideally filtering out hate speech from anonymous users.
You can also restrict receiving notifications only to people you follow. Similar filters have been available for verified accounts for some time now. Since February, they have also blocked 235,000 users for terrorist propaganda. [Twitter]
