Pack Your Kids With the Best Sandwich by Making Yourself Lunch
A turkey sandwich can be either boring and bland, or just outrageous, it all depends on the meat. To make sure you’re packing the best sandwich for kids (or for yourself), consider making your own cold cuts.
Making your own delicious turkey meat requires a little preparation, but not too much effort, as most of your “job” is simply rubbing the boneless turkey breast (aim for 2 1/2 lbs) with delicious spices. (Click the link below to find out which ones.) After the turkey is massaged with dry brine, wrap it in plastic and refrigerate for 12-24 hours. After this time, take it out and let it cool to room temperature for half an hour. Wipe it dry with paper towels, sauté in your secure skillet, and bake it in the oven at 250F for about an hour, until the internal temperature reaches 155F. Let sit for at least half an hour before slicing.
Fold your gorgeous creation between two slices of bread and wrap it up for your beloved kids, resting in comfort knowing you know exactly when to make cold cuts.
