Share Multiple Screenshots With This IOS Tool

iOS : Sharing funny or embarrassing screenshots is common among some of my friends, although it often involves taking multiple images at the same time, sometimes in the wrong order. If you’re sending screenshots of a long chain of text messages, an email receipt you share with a partner, or an entire website you think looks cool, you should download Tailor , a utility application that will automatically merge screenshots into one image.

How it works

Tailor works by stitching an image based on screenshots you have taken in advance. It scans your film strip for screenshots and groups similar ones together, combining them into a new, very tall image. You can share a route, a story you read on an article bookmarking service, a bunch of Instagram posts, or anything that doesn’t fit in a single screenshot. While it’s free, you can pay $ 2.99 to remove the tiny watermark at the bottom of your new image.

To get started, open whatever you want to share, be it a to-do list, a thread of emails, or routes, and take your first screenshot. Your subsequent screenshots should have some overlapping elements so Tailor can figure out where to put the two images together. That means including that last text message at the bottom of your first screenshot, at the top of the second screenshot, and so on. Once you’ve got the images you want, open Tailor and see how it automatically merges your screenshots.

Depending on your captured images, not every stitched end product will be perfectly edited. If your images overlap too much, or you add screenshots that are not sufficiently distinguishable between them (for example, two screenshots of the site only slightly scrolled down), you will see evidence that the images partially overlap. While overlap is a bit annoying, more often than not, images are stitched together perfectly. Tailor’s utilitarian functionality might not be used on a day to day basis, but it saves time and confuses me when exchanging images and keeps things tidy and tidy.
