This Seven-Piece Eufy Home Security System Is Now on Sale for $270.
The Eufy Essential 7-Piece alarm system is on sale on Amazon for $269.98, down from $399.99, a $130 reduction from its historical price, according to analysts . The kit includes a HomeBase Mini hub with 64GB of built-in storage, a keypad, four door sensors, and a motion sensor. This is enough to protect the front and back doors, a couple of ground-floor windows, and the main hallway in an apartment or small home. The system requires no subscription, so once you’ve purchased it, you won’t have to worry about monthly payments.
With the installed sensors, you’ll receive instant notifications via the free Eufy app whenever someone opens a secure door or window, and the motion sensor can detect movement in areas like the living room or hallway. However, not all family members need the app to use the system, as the included keypad allows family members or the home caretaker to arm and disarm the system right at the door. Everything connects to the HomeBase Mini, which serves as the central hub with built-in storage, allowing all data to be stored locally.
Setting up the system takes just a few minutes, as the battery-powered sensors require no wiring, and the app guides you through every step after connecting the HomeBase. However, you’ll need to replace the batteries in the sensors periodically, and a large home with multiple entrances may require more than the four door sensors and one motion sensor included in the kit. You can add more Eufy sensors and accessories as needed, but each will cost extra. And if you want to see what triggered the alert, you’ll need to purchase compatible cameras separately, as they’re not included.
