You Can Save 20% on the Galaxy Z Fold Ultra With This Great Deal During the October Prime Day Sale.

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold series is excellent, and its devices are arguably the best foldable smartphones money can buy. (Although we’ll see if the iPhone Duo can match them later this month.) The best of these devices, the Galaxy Z Fold Ultra , packs all the features Samsung could offer in a foldable smartphone without the price tag. Samsung lists this device at $2,099.99, which is enough to buy two or three laptops, let alone a single foldable smartphone. But during the final hours of Prime Day in October, you can save 20% on this device and take advantage of deep discounts on other Samsung foldable smartphones.

When closed, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra has a 6.5-inch display with 1080p resolution, perfect for use as a regular smartphone. But when opened, you get an 8-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a much higher resolution of 2256 by 2504, effectively turning the Z Fold 8 Ultra into a small tablet. It’s powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip as the Galaxy S26 line, meaning performance is on par with Samsung’s flagship smartphone line. You also get some of the benefits of the S26 Ultra’s cameras: the Z Fold 8 Ultra has a 200MP wide-angle lens, a 10MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. And since it’s a foldable phone, you also get two front-facing cameras: one 10MP ultra-wide on the inside and one 10MP side-facing on the outer display.

The Amazon deal on the Z Fold 8 Ultra is great, but still a bit pricey. You save $415, but you’ll still need to pay $1,684.99 upfront. Alternatively, you can take advantage of the Amazon deal on the Galaxy Z Fold 8. That device is 18% off, dropping the price from $1,899.99 to $1,549.99. It’s Samsung’s passport-shaped foldable smartphone, with a smaller 5.5-inch outer display and a 7.6-inch inner display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s also powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, though you’ll lose out on the camera department: the Galaxy Z Fold 8 lacks a 200MP camera, but it does have a 50MP wide-angle camera and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. It also features 10-megapixel selfie cameras on both the inner and outer displays.

What do you think at the moment?

If you’re looking for the most affordable foldable Galaxy phone, consider the Galaxy Z Flip 8. As its name suggests, the phone unfolds rather than folds, meaning it takes up much less space than other Samsung devices. It features a 4.1-inch outer display that unfolds into a 6.9-inch inner display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution. It also runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, but has the least powerful cameras: a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens. There’s just one 10-megapixel front-facing camera. However, the Flip 8 is also the most affordable Samsung phone. Amazon is currently offering it at a 19% discount, reducing the price from $1,199.99 to $974.99.
