But while the company gradually rolled out Apple Intelligence features throughout the iOS 18 lifecycle, the new Siri was nowhere to be found.
For many, this absence elicited a mixture of mild humor and disappointment. However, some considered it a hoax. After all, Apple had stated that users who purchased a certain iPhone model could expect this improved version of Siri. You may have purchased an iPhone 16 or, for example, the previous-generation iPhone 15 Pro, assuming you’d be able to take advantage of Apple’s AI assistant, but these changes actually only arrived last week, more than two years after Apple first announced them. These claims weren’t limited to online complaints. The Clarkson law firm filed a lawsuit against Apple , alleging the company misled customers with new Siri features.
