This Roborock Self-Cleaning Vacuum Is Now $700 Off.
The Roborock Saros 10R robot vacuum is on sale for $899.99, down from $1,599.99—and according to price tracking sites, this is the lowest price yet. It’s still a big purchase, but part of what you’re paying for is the amount of maintenance it handles on its own. After each cleaning cycle, it returns to its docking station to empty the dust bin, refill the water tank, and wash and dry the mop heads. You’ll still need to replace the dust bins, refill the docking station tanks, and clean the brushes periodically, but there’s less work to do between cleaning cycles.
This is especially useful in homes where low furniture and everyday clutter pose challenges for robot vacuums. Instead of using a raised navigation tower like many competing models, Roborock has integrated sensors into the body. This allows the vacuum to reach just over three inches tall, allowing it to clean under beds, sofas, and cabinets that taller robots might otherwise miss. It can also navigate around toys, cords, and other objects without getting stuck or losing track of areas it’s already cleaned. It also handles room-to-room navigation by raising its wheels to navigate high thresholds and changes in flooring, while a retractable side brush and mop attachment help it clean close to walls and into corners.
Thanks to its portability, the Saros 10R vacuum covers a large floor area, but its cleaning performance varies depending on the surface. The wet mopping system handles fresh spills, footprints, and light stains well, although older, dried-in stains may still require manual scrubbing. The vacuum’s performance is also less consistent. As noted in our review , it does a good job of picking up crumbs and other debris from hard floors, but fine dust can remain along carpet edges and in corners. Pet hair embedded in the carpet may also require multiple passes.
