Their multiple microphones capture ambient sounds and adapt noise cancellation accordingly, making the Transparency mode quite impressive, while the Immersive mode brings out the details in any sound and makes the lack of a full-fledged equalizer more palatable. The Bose companion app, meanwhile, is regularly updated and offers several options for fine-tuning the sound. The main drawback of these headphones is usually their high price, but at $249, they represent good value compared to the competition.
