Sonos’ Premium Ace Headphones Are Now $120 Off.
You’ve likely heard of Sonos smart speakers and soundbars , which offer some of the best sound quality on the market. However, you may not know that Sonos also makes the excellent Sonos Ace headphones, which will be released in summer 2024. They’re currently on sale for $279 (original price: $449), their lowest price ever, according to price tracking tools .
The Sonos Ace headphones are soft, comfortable, and adapt to a variety of head sizes. They’re controlled using real buttons (as opposed to touch controls), which I personally find a huge plus. Battery life is impressive: about 30 hours with active noise cancellation (ANC) or Aware Mode enabled, or about 40 hours with both modes off. Multipoint Bluetooth connectivity allows you to connect up to two devices simultaneously and seamlessly switch between them.
The headphones deliver excellent results, with a PCMag rating of “Excellent.” The sound is balanced using the in-app equalizer, and the active noise cancellation and Aware Mode are top-notch, rivaling the best headphones on the market. Unfortunately, the Sonos Ace don’t support Wi-Fi, meaning you can’t stream media to them like you can with Sonos speakers—but then, not many headphones offer this feature.
At their current price, the Sonos Ace headphones compete with the best headphones for Apple users, the AirPods Max , and the best headphones for Android users, the Sony WH-1000XM6 , and arguably offer better value for money, given their much lower price. If transparency mode is important to you or you have Sonos speakers at home, the Sonos Ace headphones are your best choice.
