New to Prime Day? We’ve prepared a comprehensive guide for you, covering everything you need to know . Discount information is current at the time of publication, but prices and availability are subject to change.
Today is the third day of Prime Day , and I continue to find new great deals on fitness trackers and smartwatches. I’ve highlighted Apple, Samsung, and Pixel smartwatches in a separate list , so if that’s what you’re looking for, check it out. Still here? Over the past day, I’ve added deals on Suunto, Polar, and RingConn, and now we’re seeing record-low prices on Oura, Whoop, and Fitbit trackers, which you can read about below, as well as plenty of great deals on Garmin.
Great deals on Whoop
The Whoop screenless fitness tracker is one of the best devices on the market for in-depth workout and recovery data analysis. You can read more about how I use mine here , and also check out my review of the 5.0/MG device . The band comes with a 12-month subscription. The cheapest plan isn’t currently on sale, but the other two are:
-
A Whoop Peak subscription with the 5.0 device costs $189, the regular price is $239. (It’s currently cheaper than the most basic version, the Whoop One.) I would recommend the Peak subscription to almost everyone.
-
The Whoop Life device with the MG sensor costs $299, while the regular price is $359. Frankly, I don’t think the extra cost is justified. All you get is an ECG function on the strap and a blood pressure function of questionable utility. Choose the Peak.
Great deals on Oura rings
The Oura Ring 5 just came out ( here’s my review ), so it’s no surprise we’re seeing big discounts on the Oura Ring 4. The ceramic finish is discounted for the first time , and it, like the gold finish, is almost 50% off. The Oura Ring 4 is available in smaller and larger sizes than the 5, so if you wear a size 4, 5, 14, or 15, you might want to consider one of these:
-
Black and silver trims are $226, regular price is $249.
-
Matte Black and Matte Silver , $226, regular price $399.
-
Gold and Rose Gold , $259, regular price $499. This is an incredible deal at 48% off.
-
Ceramic finish , $259, regular price $499 (white, navy, pastel green, or pink). And again: wow! They’re selling out fast: at the time of writing, the pastel colors are still available in size 15, and the white and navy are still available in size 4, but the ceramic models are already sold out in many mid-range sizes.
Great deals on Fitbit fitness trackers
Again, the recent release ( the screenless Fitbit Air ) means we’re seeing discounts on older models. These Fitbits work with the same Google Health app as the Air and also feature a slim design, but with the added benefit of a screen that lets you tell the time. Both models are currently at their lowest price ever, and their prices have also dropped by about $4 between yesterday and today.
-
The Fitbit Charge 6 fitness tracker costs $85.45, which is already a great price, $60 off the original price. The Charge 6 is a good (albeit minimalist) tracker that does a decent job of covering the basics. Unlike the Air and Inspire, it has its own GPS. My review of the Fitbit Charge 6 can be found here .
-
The Fitbit Inspire 3 fitness tracker costs $66.45, $30 off the regular price. A lesser-known benefit of the Inspire and Charge is that they come with a belt clip for tracking steps (heart rate, of course, is not tracked).
Great deals on Garmin fitness watches.
Garmin recently released the Forerunner 70 and 170 models, meaning older models are currently on sale. Garmin watches hold up well, so even models from two generations ago can be a great buy. In fact, Garmin runs so many promotions, including on used devices, that I dedicated a separate article to choosing a model that fits your budget . Here are a few of my favorite deals on new (not refurbished) watches:
-
Garmin Forerunner 55 , $149.99, originally $199.99: This is the most basic of Garmin’s new running watches, but it was good enough to help Sebastien Sawe break the sub-2-hour marathon barrier.
-
Garmin Forerunner 165 , $199.99, originally $249.99. This is a popular entry-level running watch . The music version is also on sale; it’s $50 more than the standard version.
-
Garmin Forerunner 265 , $349.99, originally $449.99: This was one of my favorite Garmin gadgets when it first came out, though it’s no longer the latest and greatest. It features dual-band GPS, works with power meters, and has advanced analytics features like workout status.
-
Garmin Vivoactive 5 : $189.99, regular price $229.99. This is another favorite of mine , a nice everyday fitness watch with a touchscreen for most interactions, but still two physical buttons for starting, stopping, and counting laps during workouts. It’s been replaced by the Vivoactive 6 ($299.99), but I still think the 5 is a great watch. This discounted price isn’t uncommon, but keep an eye out for more discounts in the coming days.
-
Garmin Epix Pro (Gen 2) Sapphire Edition : $499.99, originally $999.99. This watch was released alongside the Fenix 7 Pro in 2023. It has since been replaced by the Fenix 8 series, but it’s still a great watch. It features an AMOLED display and additional features not found on the Forerunner, such as golf features, tide information, and fishing forecasts.
Great deals on Suunto fitness watches.
The Suunto Run is one of the best entry-level running watches I’ve tested. Originally priced at $249, it’s now regularly priced at $199 and is on sale for $148.99 today. This watch features a large, bright AMOLED screen, dual-band GPS, and the ability to store music or control music playback on your phone. It’s comparable to Garmin watches that cost more than twice as much. If I were buying my first running watch today, this would be my choice. You can read my full Suunto Run review here or check out other Suunto deals today , including the Race 2 with maps for $398.99 (regular price $499) and the Vertical for $448.99 (regular price $549).
Great deals on Polar wearables and heart rate monitors.
The Polar Loop, a screenless wearable similar to the Whoop, is on sale for the first time at $169.99 (regular price $199.99). You can read my review , but I have to admit, it’s my least favorite device among the new generation of screenless gadgets. Still, if you like its looks or are already a fan of the Polar ecosystem, now is the perfect time to pick one up.
Polar is best known for its chest heart rate monitors, and some of their top models are also on sale today:
-
Polar H9 Chest Heart Rate Monitor : $56.44 (regular price $69.90)
-
Polar H10 Chest Heart Rate Monitor : $89.21 (regular price: $104.95). The H10 can connect to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously and has internal memory for storing data from your most recent workout. (The H9 lacks these features.)
-
Polar Verity Sense Wrist Monitor : $87.74 (regular price $104.95). Note that this is an optical sensor, like the ones found in smartwatches. It’s less accurate than an electrical chest strap, but many find the wrist-mounted location provides a good compromise between comfort and accuracy.
Great deals on RingConn smart rings.
RingConn makes smart rings with a long battery life and some useful extra features, like headache detection and the ability to turn on a blue light to help find a lost ring dropped on the car floor or in the laundry basket. (Ask me how I know this.) The second-generation ring is currently priced at $209.30 , down from $299.99. It’s a slightly older model; you can read my review here . You won’t lose anything by choosing the second generation over the current third, but here’s my review of the third generation for comparison.
