Nintendo Is Giving Switch Online and DLC Subscribers a Bonus Month of Free Access.

If you already have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription or are considering upgrading, Nintendo is currently offering one free bonus month of Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack to anyone who purchases, renews, or activates a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack individual or family subscription, and the promotion runs until July 28, 2026.
The extra month of service isn’t just available to new subscribers; existing Expansion Pack members can take advantage of this offer when renewing their subscription or upgrading to a more expensive Nintendo Switch Online plan. Nintendo will allow you to use the remaining balance of your current subscription to pay for the upgrade, with the amount depending on the remaining time on your current subscription. The Expansion Pack includes online multiplayer, access to a library of classic games, and cloud saves—essentially everything you’ll find in a standard Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
However, the subscription also includes a number of additional benefits, including game libraries for the Nintendo 64, Game Boy Advance, and SEGA Genesis, as well as some DLC content, including Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise , Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass , and Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion . Nintendo also expanded the service to coincide with the launch of the Switch 2 , giving eligible subscribers access to an ever-growing library of GameCube games on the new console.
Instead of the usual 12 months of service, eligible program members will receive 13 months at the same price by extending their subscription for an additional month at no additional cost. For those considering upgrading or extending their plan, a free bonus month of Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack is a great way to get a little more value from Nintendo’s premium online service, as well as expand access to retro games and downloadable content.
