The R1 headphones are based on the XReal One headset architecture ( read our detailed XReal One review here ) and are powered by the same X1 chip, which provides three-degree-of-freedom (3DoF) tracking. This means you can position your gaming display anywhere in your augmented reality experience, and it won’t move as you move your head.

What do you think at the moment?

The ROG Control Dock connects these smart glasses to consoles (Xbox, PS5) and PCs via HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 inputs, but they’re also positioned as the perfect companion for the ROG Ally portable gaming PC . With these Ally glasses, you don’t need a separate monitor for high-quality PC gaming. Together, the R1 and ROG Ally are designed to deliver a high-quality PC gaming experience that’s also completely portable and allows you to view high-resolution content through your sunglasses.
