The JBL Flip 7 Portable Speaker Is Now on Sale at 43% Off.
JBL portable speakers are known for their durability, superior sound quality, and excellent value. One of the most popular models is the JBL Flip 7, released in 2025. Currently on Woot, the new JBL Flip 7 is 43% off for $84.95 (original price: $149.95).
The Flip 7 offers more power than the Flip 6, with a 35W output versus 30W, and AI Sound Boost, which reduces distortion at high volumes. Battery life is up to 14 hours (or 16 with Playtime Boost), which is about four hours longer than its predecessor. It’s also more durable, with an improved IP68 rating, making it waterproof, dustproof, and drop-resistant from heights of up to one meter thanks to its rubber bumper. Unlike the Flip 6, the new model supports lossless audio streaming via USB-C. It boasts powerful sound and a customizable equalizer for further sound customization, as well as a carabiner clip system for increased portability.
Despite some improvements in durability, battery life, and AI-enabled features, it still lacks a built-in microphone or speakerphone, and it may not pair with older JBL speakers despite Auracast support. It’s also slightly larger (roughly the size of a 470ml soda can, according to a PCMag review ). However, with what the publication calls “powerful mid-bass,” a compact design, and a durable build, the JBL Flip 7 remains a strong contender among portable Bluetooth speakers. And at $84.95 on Woot, it’s more affordable than ever.
