The Latest Echo Show Model Is Now $50 Off.
The Echo Show has come a long way since its humble beginnings. Amazon’s newest smart display launched in winter 2025 and debuted Fire TV integration, allowing you to stream live TV directly to the screen, along with Alexa+ voice control and other improvements. Currently, the 11-inch Echo Show 11 costs $169.99 (originally $219.99), while the 8-inch Echo Show 8 costs $139.99 (originally $179.99), both models currently at their lowest prices, according to price tracking tools .
The Amazon Echo Show 11 replaces the third-generation Echo Show 10. One obvious difference is its smaller size, but the screen is actually larger, thanks to significantly thinner bezels, giving it a more modern look. The sound has also been significantly improved, with front-facing speakers and a subwoofer capable of filling an entire room with sound. The display resolution has been increased to 1920 by 1200 pixels, which is better, but still disappointing given that it’s not 4K. Among the more subtle improvements is new support for Matter, Thread, and Zigbee, essentially covering almost all smart home devices.
If you had a third-generation Echo Show 10, you’ll notice that the physical shutter camera is gone (it can still be disabled in settings), as is the rotating camera feature that used to follow you (it’s now fixed in place). Amazon’s new generative AI, Alexa+, is free for Prime subscribers, otherwise it costs $19.99 per month . Alexa+ can do everything you’d expect: it converses conversationally, can control your devices without requiring you to say the exact words in the correct order, and remembers past conversations. The Echo Show 11 and 8 are the same device, even in terms of sound; the only differences are screen size and price.
