Trump Mobile Phone Called “T1 Phone” May Be Released Soon.

In case you missed it , a Trump-branded smartphone is in development. This isn’t an initiative by Donald Trump himself; rather, his sons, Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., are attempting to enter the smartphone market with their company, T1 Mobile. The company offers both a smartphone and its own mobile plan, which includes unlimited calls, texts, and data; international calls; and Trump’s name proudly displayed in the status bar as your carrier’s name. How cool! The phone isn’t available for sale yet, but it could be rolling out soon.
Despite the project being announced as early as June 2025, the release of the “Trump T1” phone was significantly delayed. It seemed its development might peter out, at least until February , when Trump Mobile finally responded to The Verge’s requests for more information about the phone. Executives demonstrated the device—which differed from the original model—and revealed its specifications to the publication. However, there was no official release date yet.
Now, it seems, we’re one step closer to achieving our goal. On Tuesday, Trump Mobile launched a redesigned website and officially unveiled the new T1 phone design. This is the first time the company has publicly shown the design, which it revealed to The Verge two months ago. It’s gold, with a black and gold American flag at the bottom. Below it, “Trump Mobile” is written in large letters. Three rear cameras and another engraved “Trump Mobile” logo are visible in the upper left corner. The front panel features a gold border around the display, which has a centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.
Trump Mobile T1 Specifications
The page also features the official specs list from Trump Mobile. Under “Key Specifications,” we see that the T1 Phone (Gold Edition) features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, a 120Hz refresh rate, four cameras (50MP main, 8MP wide-angle, 50MP telephoto, and 50MP front), a 5,000mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 30W, 512GB of storage, a fingerprint scanner, and “AI face unlock,” as well as a Snapdragon chipset. The company doesn’t specify which Snapdragon chip is in this device, though given the $499 price tag, I’m guessing it’s something on the budget side.
Interestingly, as GSMArena notes, the specs list is strikingly similar to the HTC U24 Pro . If Trump Mobile borrows the design from that device, it’s possible it will also borrow the U24 Pro’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 (4 nm) chip. But until the company confirms what’s under the display, we won’t know.
How much does it cost to rent a T1 terminal for Trump Mobile?
Trump Mobile isn’t just offering its own phone (yes, that’s how they priced it) with its $47.45 plan; you can also choose from a selection of refurbished phones, including a Samsung Galaxy and an iPhone. But if you’re looking to purchase a T1 phone, you can make a $100 deposit today and pay the remaining $399 upon official purchase. You’ll also get your first month free, but it’s unclear when that will begin, as the phone’s release date is still unknown.
Trump Mobile hasn’t been particularly stable or transparent over the past year, but that’s perhaps not surprising given how many Trump businesses have gone bankrupt or been forced to pay settlements for fraud . If you prefer to stick with a reputable carrier, you can get plenty of excellent phones in a similar price range without waiting for an unannounced release date in the indefinite future.
