These Affordable Soundcore Headphones Are Now Under $40.

The Soundcore P31i headphones are priced at $36.98 (originally $59.99), which, according to price-tracking sites , is their lowest price ever. At this price, most headphones offer basic features, so it’s unusual to see features like active noise cancellation and LDAC included. This doesn’t mean they compete with premium models, but for under $40, they offer more features than you might expect.

These headphones are lightweight, fit comfortably, and don’t cause discomfort after an hour or two of use, which isn’t always the case with cheaper headphones. Battery life also lasts a full day of use, just over seven hours on a single charge with additional charging from the case. Sound quality is better than expected for the price, although it’s slightly bass-heavy by default (this can be adjusted in the app, but the app itself isn’t the most intuitive and takes some getting used to, as noted in a ZDNET review ). LDAC support offers improved sound quality when used with a compatible device.

There are also a few extra features, such as HearID for customizing sound to your ears and an AI-powered translation function, though these are more of a bonus than something you’ll use every day. As for noise cancellation, it works, but keep your expectations in check—it reduces constant background noise, such as engine noise and traffic, but doesn’t compare to the isolation offered by more expensive headphones. This also matches the overall build quality, which feels somewhat basic compared to pricier options.
