This Unlocked Pixel 9 Is Now on Sale for $300 Off.

The Google Pixel 9 128GB (unlocked) has dropped to $499 (original price: $799), its lowest price yet. “Unlocked” not only looks good in the ad, but it also means you’re not locked into a single carrier, making it much easier to switch networks or use a second SIM card when traveling. The Pixel 9 isn’t the newest model in Google’s lineup, but it doesn’t feel dated either. It occupies a comfortable middle ground, offering most of the attractive features of Pixel phones without the premium price tag of flagship models. Read our Pixel 9 review for more details.

In everyday use, the phone performs well. It’s powered by a Google Tensor G4 chip paired with 12GB of RAM, ensuring smooth performance both when running apps side-by-side and when using Google’s AI features . Some of these tools are still being refined, but they’re quite usable and are constantly being improved. The 6.3-inch OLED display refreshes at up to 120Hz, so scrolling and animations are smooth, and the battery doesn’t drain too quickly. As for the battery, the 4,700mAh battery lasted nearly 12 hours in PCMag’s video test , which should last a full day for most users. Charging is good, but not fast by modern standards. Wired charging is available at 27W; a charger is not included, and wireless charging with the Google Pixel Stand reaches 15W.

What do you think at the moment?

The camera is what still sets the Pixel 9 apart from its competitors in its price range. It features a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens, delivering consistently sharp photos with robust color reproduction. It lacks some of the autofocus enhancements found in the Pro model, but most users won’t notice the difference unless they’re shooting fast-moving subjects. The build also feels durable, with an aluminum frame, a matte finish, and IP68 water and dust resistance. Add to that seven years of software support, as well as 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, and dual-SIM support, and it’s clear this phone is built to last. If you’re not chasing the latest version, this offering makes the Pixel 9 a practical upgrade that will stay relevant for years to come.
