This Minimalist “Nothing” Phone Is $200 Off During Amazon’s Big Spring Sale.

Amazon’s spring sale is coming to an end, and the Nothing Phone (3) has dropped to $599 (originally $799) for the model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. According to price tracking sites, this is the lowest price the phone has ever reached. It’s Nothing’s most ambitious phone to date (according to PCMag’s review ), and that’s evident in how it attempts to directly compete with flagship devices while remaining distinctive.
The design, as we noted in our Nothing (3) review , is what first catches your eye. The transparent back panel is back, now paired with a glyph matrix that uses 489 tiny LEDs to illuminate ringtones, timers, and a few fun extra features. It’s an interesting idea, and you’ll probably experiment with it at first, but there’s a good chance it’ll fade into the background once the novelty wears off.
The phone also feels well-built. Its design uses recycled aluminum, Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and an IP68 rating, making it designed for everyday use without worrying about liquid or dust. It features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that’s crisp and bright enough for outdoor use, and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling or watching videos.
The cameras are also more stable than before, producing natural photos across all three lenses instead of overly processed images. Battery life also comfortably lasts all day, and fast charging support allows for quick recharging when needed. In everyday use, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 performs smoothly and effortlessly.
Apps open quickly, switching between tasks is seamless, and even resource-intensive games like Genshin Impact run without noticeable lag. However, the Nothing Phone (3)’s main drawback is that it lacks many of the AI-powered features that its competitors push, so it may feel limited if you’re looking for cutting-edge features.
